A lot has changed since Scandalated started rapping in the late 80’s.  Hustling and grinding on the streets of Zaandam is where you could find him. If he had a minute, he often would be playing soccer. But also always bizzy with rapmusic and writing lyrics.

‘High Position’ was the first rapgroup Scandalated performed in along with Stemobster. In the early 90’s Scandalated and Stemobster formed a crew named ‘Nex Episo’, they performed a lot during this time.  After a couple a years Scandalated took a step back to evaluate the Dutch Hiphop scene.

Afterwards Scandalated  started collaborating with other mc’s and producers. And formed Holopoint Records. At that time he was collaborating with producer Black Mosart. Holopoint Records released its first cd and video from Scandalated named ‘Critical Decisions’, produced by Black Mosart. Which was broadcasted on tv music channels.

In Amsterdam 2002, Scandalated started his own record label ‘KB Records’. Not only to record at anytime but also to collaborate with dope artists and releasing their music. After several years KB Records changed to Scan Music Records. Up to now the label and music studio are a true breeding pond for several rappers, singers and producers. “Hard work pays off” is what their mindset and slogan is.
In 2016 Scandalated dropped a video named ‘Renegades‘ which was produced by DutchFlower. With this track the focus was on the major refugee situation back then. Trying to create awareness and attention.

His tracks are mostly raw, socially conscious, positive or contain anti-commercial lyrics.  Nowadays Scandalated is working on several projects in the studio. The latest EP named ‘Stories of a grown man’ is produced by DutchFlower. For this project, a short documentary was shoot on the Cape Verdian Islands by his team. Stay tuned for several new releases.
